A 288-piece mechanics tool set is mandatory...just kidding. A #2 phillips screw driver, plumb bob, and torpedo level. Sometimes a pair of needle nose pillars will help thread the guide lines through the winches.
12v DC 5-amp power supply. When the valve is sharing power with a prop controller, a 5-amp power supply is required. Using a sub 5-amp power supply will cause your prop controller to enter a brown out condition upon trigger and will result in (most likely) your prop controller to reset itself.
Just about any trigger supported by your prop controller can be used. Push buttons, beam breaks, pressure mats, PIR, etc...
No! A simple push button that sends 12v DC to the valve will get it poppin.
Our interchangeable head modules let you change your theme without changing your tech. Each module snaps into place in seconds. Fright variety has never been easier.
Practically instant. The ShockRocket™ is designed for high-traffic haunts—trigger, scare, reset, repeat. No delay. No downtime. Just relentless, automated chaos. While the ShockRocket will be ready to launch again as soon as it lands and the screams stop, the performance of your air compressor is determining how often you can trigger the prop.
Generally 25PSI will give about five (5) feet of travel. 40PSI will be good for about eight (8) feet of screams.Your mileage will vary. Always start with a low (15PSI) pressure and slowly add PSI until reach your desired altitude.
ShockRocket’s need at minimum a ⅜ line, but ideally ½ inch for best performance. In addition to correct lifting PSI, the high flow air valve of the head poppers needs a large volume of air to lift the payload. At least six (6) feet of ⅜ or ½ inch air line between the ShockRocket and your compressor pressure valve is needed to supply enough volume for a launch.
No. Adjust the tool pressure gauge to the correct lifting pressure.
Over 10,000 and counting. We built it to survive a full season of shrieks (and then some) in the most punishing haunt environments.
It’s not afraid of the dark—or a little drizzle—but for best performance, we recommend shelter from direct rain and weather extremes.
Plug it in. Secure it. No programming skills or engineering degree required.
